The Seminar comprehends panels with presentation and discussion of papers on five thematic groups:

• Regionalism and Regional Organizations;
• International Trade;
• Development and Environment;
• Human Rights and Humanitarian Law;
• Law and International Relations.

The purpose of the Seminar is to foster debates between students, researchers, professors and practitioners stimulating respect for different approaches reflecting the convergent and divergent aspects of issues from universal and regional perspectives and related fields, and building prospective solutions for controversial issues through the interaction between participants.

The authors of proposals selected will be notified weekly, on every sunday, until June 29, 2008.

The full version of papers shall be submitted to the Conference Committee until July 28, 2008.
